Scenic City wins Bronze Level Status in USA Swimming’s Club Excellence Program!
Scenic City was chosen as one of the Top 200 teams in the country out approximately 2,800 total teams. This is the second year in a row we have been chosen for such an honor. Congratulations SCAC swimmers, parents, and coaches!
For the rest of our meets of the 2010 season, the coaches will enter the swimmers in the meet and the parents will only need to let us know if their child can not swim before the entry deadline. The bill for the entry fee will then just be added to that month’s Scenic City Aquatic Club billing. Again, you will only need to tell your coach that you will not be swimming in the meet. For all future meets, being with this one, your coach will be doing all meet entries. This will assure that our swimmers do not miss entry deadlines. We feel this will greatly help us with meet participation. We would love to see our team represented better at all meets. More swimmers = more fun! The coaches will also be responsible for the assignment of events for each swimmer so they will swim the best events for their abilities and needs.
